So first thing’s first, I’m not a maths geek or a lifelong accounts lover - in fact I didn’t pass my maths GCSE the first time!
What I am is passionate about problem solving, technology and talking!
Bookkeeping allows me to follow my passions:

I get to talk to my clients about their business and share my solutions with them
I’ve worked in many different roles over the years and through all of these I discovered my skill in breaking down the jargon and making things practical & workable.
Once trained as a Bookkeeper I decided to put everything I’ve learnt over the years together and started 4cast Bookkeeping.
I want to give women in business clear, kind financial support that actually helps you feel confident. No more mansplaining or feeling confused by spreadsheets designed to overwhelm, I break it down so you get the information you need in an understandable way that works for you and your business.
When I’m not working, I’m a mum to a teenage boy (send help!) and a dog-mum to one very attention-seeking pooch. If I do manage to find some downtime, I love gaming, walking, and the occasional cocktail.

Breaking Down The Myths
There’s many myths about Bookkeeping and how we Bookkeepers work - at 4cast I break most of them!
Myth: Bookkeeping is all about numbers and transactions.
The 4cast Way: I take a human first approach, I am your trusted team member and am here to understand your whole business.
I will work with you to understand your goals, to support you to understand your numbers so you know what they’re telling you about your business performance and what you can achieve.
Myth: You only speak to your bookkeeper at tax return time.
The 4cast Way: I’m not here just for your tax returns and to sort receipts. When you work with me we’ll talk all the time! I’ll keep you updated with your numbers, add input and ideas to your plans and help you forecast for the short and long term.
As your trusted team member I am here for it all and available to answer all your questions so you’re equipped with all the information you need to make any business decisions.
Myth: You only need a bookkeeper if you’re earning six figures.
The 4cast Way: I work with businesses of all shapes and sizes, and encourage anyone running their own business (however small) to get bookkeeping support. Keeping your numbers in check and truly understanding them is the key to growing your business and reaching those 6 figures (if that’s your goal!).
In fact many of my clients will never reach 6 figures - not because they can’t but because it doesn’t fit with their goals.
I offer different levels of support depending on your business size and how hands on (or off!) you want to be. My new Sole Trader Clarity service is perfect for smaller businesses just starting out but wanting the confidence and clarity of some expert eyes.

I am trained and certified with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers. I’ve recently been appointed to their new Technology Advisory Board.
I am also a certified Xero Advisor and Xero Migration Specialist.
